Offering the practical wisdom of Yoga using (but not limited to) Asana, Pranayama,
Chanting, Visualizations and Meditation enlivens me.
As a Yoga Therapist, I have worked with Pre-natal students, Postpartum
students, students with auto-immune conditions, arthritis, heart conditions, respiratory conditions, spine injuries / deviations, migraines, obesity, menstrual issues and mental
health issues to name a few.

1. Personalized Yoga Therapy/ Yoga Consultations
Yoga has to be your most personal and intimate journey! And it requires your commitment. What does it take to befriend your own mind-and-body through the breath?
As an avid Yoga Practitioner and Yoga Therapist I have benefited from and therefore highly recommend a personalized Yoga Practice which is suited to your mind-body complex, especially when you are seeking recovery from an illness/injury.
I take into account your age, your profession, your medical history current medical diagnosis, your lifestyle, your daily routine & your life goals to design your personal practice.
My consultation followed by the first class typically lasts for a total of 90 minutes wherein I teach you your practice. You will be given an elaborate practice sheet with clear figures and instructions. As you practise this sheet at home, we continue to meet regularly every week for review and follow-up for 12 weeks (3 months). Remember this. Your yoga practice evolves along with you!
2. Personal Training
Do you lack the motivation to practise yoga? Do you need a trainer to guide you through your yoga practice along with self-reflective practices? I offer personal yoga classes (45 mins - 1 hour) 2-3 times a week.
3. Group Classes
Would you like to practise with your buddies?
I offer group yoga classes wherein I explore Asana, Pranayama and Meditation in a group context.
I teach a maximum group size of 8 and the group classes follow a progression. I offer these on demand.
4. Chanting
Have you explored chanting as a tool to improve focus, gather yourself and come to your center? Chanting not only energizes you, but it also helps you to listen with utmost attentiveness. When you incorporate specific breathing techniques while chanting, it accelerates the aforementioned benefits.
I find chanting from the Vedas invigorating and healing. I learn, practice and teach Vedic Chanting both in individual as well as group contexts, in the tradition of Sri T. Krishnamacharya.
I take in a maximum group size of 5 for these classes.
5. Workshops For Organizations / Thematic Programs
I am fascinated by the diversity of large groups and how it enables us all to unpack myths about Yoga and consolidate our understanding based on individual experience.
I design personalized workshops/retreats, organize talks and practices for institutions based on their specific needs.
I also offer specialized workshops which connect the dots between Yoga, Scriptures and traditional Indic practices to make sense of the extraordinary in the ordinary.
6. Programs for Youth / Teens
Adolescence entails maximum flux in the body and the mind. To find one's own anchor is crucial. I facilitate contemplative spaces for teens to deal with their emotional and physical turbulence.
